Domingo Mirón is the group chief executive of Accenture’s Financial Services operating group, which serves clients in the banking, capital markets and insurance industries. He is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. His vision is to help financial institutions change to be more innovative, agile and human so they can manage disruption and create new value in a rapidly changing world. Throughout his career, he has led major projects spanning internationalization, process-improvement and operating-model design for both Spanish and international banking and insurance clients. Prior to assuming his current role in 2019, he was Accenture’s group operating officer for Financial Services, responsible for executing the business strategy and driving operational excellence across the operating group. He previously led Accenture's Financial Services business in Spain, Portugal and Israel and, from 2011 to 2014, he was Accenture’s senior managing director – Financial Services, Growth & Strategy. From 2009 to 2011, he led Accenture's Banking business in Europe, Africa and Latin America. He joined Accenture in 1989 and became a partner in 2000. He has a degree in mathematics from Complutense University of Madrid and is a graduate of the Management Development Program at IESE Business School (University of Navarra).
